What Data We Collect
LabZone collects the following data:
- Personal identification: e-mail address
- Anonymized analytics data
- Meeting bookings: name, e-mail address, company, chosen time slot and, optionally, a short description of the process to discuss
How We Use This Data
The company LabZone specializes in software development of mobile and web applications, graphic design, working with augmented reality and many others technologies. LabZone thus processes personal data related to your person to the following extent: e-mail address.
Booking a meeting. To schedule meetings we use Cal.com (Cal.com, Inc., USA) as our processor. It processes your name, e-mail address, company, the time slot you choose and, if you fill it in, a short description of the process you want to discuss, only to arrange the meeting. Transfers of this data to the USA follow the section on transfers to third countries below. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Live demos (LabZone Labs). Some of our experiments have a live demo on a labzone.tech subdomain, such as stat.labzone.tech. We store questions without IP addresses for 30 days to evaluate and improve the experiment. We use your IP address only briefly to limit the number of requests and do not store it. Please don’t include personal data in your questions.
What are your data protection rights
LabZone would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following:
The right to access – You have the right to request Our Company for copies of your personal data. We may charge you a small fee for this service.
The right to rectification – You have the right to request that Our Company correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request Our Company to complete the information you believe is incomplete.

The Transfer Of Personal Data To Third Countries
Some of the service providers we work with process personal data outside the EU/EEA, in particular in the United States. Such transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework for certified recipients or on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. Transfers to Switzerland rely on the European Commission’s adequacy decision.
Legal Basis
In accordance with the requirements of personal data protection legislation, we need to inform you of the legal bases for the processing of your personal data, which are:
- Fulfillment of contract - in the case of the conclusion of a service contract, contract for work, contract of confidentiality and others.
- Fulfillment of our legal obligations - when making data available to state and other authorities that oversee our activities or which deal with disputes or enforcement of decisions.
- Our legitimate interest - in improving and personalizing our services, some marketing activities, or in relation to security and protection of rights.
Business contacts we approach (B2B prospecting)

Whose data and what data. We contact a small number of professionals at manufacturing, industrial, logistics and freight-forwarding companies whose role relates to our services, such as heads of quality, heads of operations, plant managers, COOs and CTOs. We process only: name, job title, employer, business email address or professional profile URL, the public source where we found the information, the date we found it, and the history of our contact with you (including any request not to be contacted).
Sources. Publicly available business sources: your employer’s website, press releases, public company registers, public job advertisements, conference and event pages, and professional networks such as LinkedIn (viewed manually). We do not buy contact lists.
Purpose and legal basis. We use this data to offer you, in your professional capacity, information about LabZone’s software prototype, workflow automation and on-premise AI services relevant to your company. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in direct B2B marketing (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, see Recital 47). We have documented a legitimate interest assessment. We email only where the applicable national electronic-marketing rules permit it. Elsewhere we use other channels, such as LinkedIn, or ask for consent first.
How we limit contact. At most one initial message and one follow-up. Every message tells you how to opt out. We do no automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not track email opens.
Recipients. Our data is processed by service providers acting on our instructions: Proton Mail (email, Switzerland), Airtable (contact database, USA), Anthropic (AI assistance with research and drafting, USA) and LinkedIn (professional network messaging, Ireland). Where data is transferred outside the EEA, we rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework for certified recipients or on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. Transfers to Switzerland rely on the European Commission’s adequacy decision.
Retention. If you do not engage with us, we delete your data 6 months after our last contact. If we enter into a business conversation, we keep the data for its duration and 6 months afterwards. If you ask us not to contact you, we keep only your email address or domain and the date of your request on a suppression list, so that we can respect your request in future.
Your rights. You may object at any time to the use of your data for direct marketing (Art. 21(2)–(3) GDPR). We will then stop contacting you, with no need to give a reason. You also have the right of access, rectification, erasure and restriction of processing. To exercise them, reply to our message or write to info@labzone.tech. You may lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic (Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov SR, dataprotection.gov.sk) or with the supervisory authority in your country.
Is providing the data required? No. We collected it from public sources, as described above.
